Maundy Thursday, April 6th 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall
This evening will provide an experience of the Passover Seder which Jesus observed in the Upper Room in Jerusalem the night he was betrayed and arrested. The Evening includes a candlelight dinner in the context of the Passover Seder ritual. At the conclusion of the dinner, we will observe the Christian Sacrament of Communion. Reservations Required.
VBS will take place from June 19 to June 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We invite children from 3 years old through fourth grade. This party includes exciting new music, amazing science, creative crafts, fun recreation, and memorable Bible stories that will help children work together and join God in helping others. All fifth grade and up can be youth volunteers. All adult volunteers are welcomed and will need to have Safe Sanctuary training.
Youth in the eighth-grade study and learn more about their faith, their church and themselves. Youth, parents, faith partners and the congregation covenant on a faith journey that engages thoughtful conversations at church and home. Weekly gatherings to explore topics range from scripture, history, and traditions like the Nicene Creed to big ideas like the priesthood of all believers, heresy and power. Field trips to mission partners and other communities of faith. Confirmation classes start in August and meet on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
